BIBLE STUDIES Sunday study is different than the weekday study. Sundays at 9:00 – “Galatians”. Monday 7:00/Wednesday 11:00: “Job: Faith Put to the Test.”

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY this Sunday at 6:30 P.M. Romans chapter 2.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY A new Bible Study has begun based on the Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast, the Ten Virgins, and the Wedding Banquet found in the book of Matthew. The WELS Commission on Women’s Ministry has made them available at no cost and you will be able to pick up a copy during the Bible Study in the room above the church office where we meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 P.M.

WOMEN OF THE CONGREGATION There is a sign-up sheet in the back of church for any of our ladies who would like to attend Advent by Candlelight. This year’s program will be held Sunday, December 3rd. Registration and gathering will begin at 2:00 P.M. dessert and coffee will be served at 2:30 P.M., and the program, “Take Me to the Manger”, will begin at 3:00 P.M. If you have a seating request or hostess preference, please note that on the sign-up sheet. The last sign-up date is November 26th.

Gentlemen If you would like to participate in the Advent by Candlelight service by helping serve coffee and water to the ladies – there is a signup sheet on the table in the entry and in the ramp. You have been such a great help in the past. Please join us!

THANKSGIVING We Christians have so many reasons to observe a National Holiday in a spiritual way. The Lord has been good to our nation, our homes, and our church. The works of the Lord are great and glorious; His Name is worthy of praise! Thanksgiving services present an opportunity to offer that praise. Worship on Wednesday evening, November 22nd, is at 6:30 P.M. Thanksgiving Day Service, November 23rd, is at 9:00 A.M. Come and have God’s Word renew your attitude of gratitude to our Maker and Preserver.

SCHOOL NEWS Weather Delays/Closings: Remember to listen to WBEV, 1430 AM or watch Channel 3 or NBC/15 for any school related announcements which usually begin to air about 6:00 A.M. The announcement would be for all schools in Beaver Dam. We will have these announcements on the web site www.saintstephen.org/school.

SCHOOL SECURITY For the safety of our children there have security upgrades all around our building. One change – ALL doors are locked during the school day, even at the church office. To gain entrance to the church, ring the bell or knock loudly. For school business please go to S2 (Flagpole) doors and use the intercom inside the first set of doors.

OPEN GYM for Basketball Sundays 5:30 – 7:30 P.M.

LUTHER PREP Fall Band Concert will be on Sunday, November 19th, at 7:00 P.M.

SHARE CARE FOR SMALL CHILDREN     Some parents with very young children are looking to cooperate (take turns) in child care for little ones during worship services to allow one another some opportunity to fully participate in worship. If you are a parent(s) of little ones (age 1-3) who might be interested in taking part, please put your name and phone number on the sheet in the entry.
