HOLY COMMUNION is offered Sunday, November 26th, in all services (individual cups in all services with common cup offered). Communion is also offered on Friday, December 1st, at 1:30 P.M. You may register by card at any time.

In memory of Jack Rhodes, Sr.: $100 for Lakeside given by his wife, Judi Rhodes. SHARE CARE FOR SMALL CHILDREN Some parents with very young children are looking to cooperate (take turns) in childcare for little ones during worship services to allow one another some opportunity to fully participate in worship. If you are a parent (s) of little ones (age 1-3) who might be interested in taking part, please put your name and phone number on the sheet in the entry.

QUARTERLY VOTERS’ MEETING will be on Sunday, December 10th, at 11:40 A.M. At this meeting we will adopt the 2018 Ministry Spending Plan (Budget). All voting members are encouraged to attend.

BIBLE STUDIES Sunday study is different than the weekday study. Sundays at 9:00 – “Galatians”. Monday 7:00/Wednesday 11:00: “Job: Faith Put to the Test.”

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY takes a two-week break due to Thanksgiving and the Advent by Candlelight Program. We will resume on Sunday, December 10th.

WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY will meet on Wednesday, November 29th.They will take a break until January 3rd.

WOMEN OF THE CONGREGATION There is a sign-up sheet in the back of the church for any of our ladies who would like to attend Advent by Candlelight. This year’s program will be held Sunday, December 3rd. Registration and gathering will begin at 2:00 P.M. dessert and coffee will be served at 2:30 P.M., and the program, “Take Me to the Manger”, will begin at 3:00 P.M. If you have a seating request or hostess preference, please note that on the sign-up sheet. The last sign-up date is November 26th.

Gentlemen If you would like to participate in the Advent by Candlelight service by helping serve coffee and water to the ladies – there is a signup sheet on the table in the entry and in the ramp. You have been such a great help in the past. Please join us.

AN ADVENT SERVICE will be held on Wednesday, December 6th, at St. John, Juneau. This is a joint service with St. John’s, Good Shepherd, and St. Stephen’s. Please join us for this special service at 6:30 P.M.

  • Sunday, December 3rd – 11:30 A.M. Put up 12 ft. Christmas trees
  • Sunday, January 14th – 11:30 A.M. Take everything down.

SCHOOL NEWS

  • Weather Delays/Closings: Remember to listen to WBEV, 1430 AM or watch Channel 3 or NBC/15 for any school related announcements which usually begin to air about 6:00 A.M. The announcement would be for all schools in Beaver Dam. We will have these announcements on the web site saintstephen.org/school.
  • CULVER’S NIGHT THANK YOU! Culver’s Care’s Night was a HUGE success. What great fellowship! We were told it is possibly the busiest night they’ve had in a long time. Through Culver’s gift card sales (10% donation), Culver’s Calendar sales (100% donation) and Culver’s Calendar sales (100% donation), and Culver’s sales (15% donation) we received around $1,000!! for school science material. A very special thank you to all who gave their time and effort to make the night a success. God has surely blessed us by giving us each other.
